She was both very particular and not at all certain about what she wanted. This was an exciting task—to take what she knew and find what she loved.

Mara wanted their wedding to feel unique but nervous to push the envelope. She leaned heavily on me and her planner to deliver an incredible event just to her liking, even though she wasn’t sure yet what that meant. I stayed within her safe and traditional color palette of green and white but added some highlights of pale blue and shadows of neutral to elevate and invigorate the floral palette.

We used natural hard goods to lend to the organic setting, adding subtle texture wherever we could. To make the wedding distinctive, we floraled some unusual focal points like the stunning bar inset and the floral accented lamp instal over the head table.

The event was meticulously planned by Sofia Ocampo, hosted at and catered by Barnsley Resort, rentals from Party Bound, Jade and Juniper, The Stile Co, BBJ, Stradley Davidson, and Atlanta Dance Floors. The Band The MAxx Live, DJ Sir Foster World, and Cobalt Strings provided the music, stationary by Rebeca Ibelings, cake by Cake Envy, dress from Lis Simon, and HMU by Bllelite.
