Why choose one color palette when you could have both?! Changing the vibe from one space to the next created an even more dynamic and elevated wedding experience.

When I met Maddie and Joey, they couldn’t decide if they wanted florals that were all white or full of color (pink, probably, but not too girly, was the thought). I showed Maddie that we could do both—all white for the ceremony and full color for the reception. They are a fun and adventurous couple so they loved the concept.

First and foremost, they wanted to give a fabulous party for their friends and family, many of whom had to travel to Texas from California. The vibe was to be black tie formal meets elegant garden party. We achieved that by focusing on combining an abundance of lush, spring blooms with intentional negative space. The Dallas Arboretum was the perfect space for this event and the wild weather only added to the exhilaration of the day.

This event took place at the Dallas Arboretum Camp House with Julep Events, photographed by Christina McNeill. Other vendors included DJ Marquise Pro, Top Tier Event Rentals, Texas Entertainment for putt-putt, lighting by Big D Party Rentals, dinner from Beyond the Box, Tease to Please HMU, dress from BBLewisville, and video by Flying Turbo.
