Jack came from Australia for school and met Anna in college. They have been together ever since and wanted to create a unique and stunning experience for their family and friends, some of whom came from the other side of the world to celebrate.
To create a jaw dropping formal ceremony in the art museum to contrast the more casual, game focused reception at the chic bar afterwards, Anna wanted us to use all red flowers. I explained and demonstrated that having a range of red would create greater depth and interest rather than a mass of classic red roses. Moreover, the design still reads “red” and it was an exciting ceremony for me to design with such a strong and vibrant personality to represent.
This event took place at the Hunter Museum of American Art with Vivid Details using Luma Designs rentals and photographed by Someplace Wild. Floral details were photographed by Abigail Lewis Photography, attire was selected at Giorgio Men’s Warehouse and The Dress Theory. Hair and makeup provided by Margaret Snider Co.
